What is a good age to start using a spoon or fork?
My son is 15 months old .. is it too early? What is a good age to start?
I offered as a spoon as soon as the child begins to self-feeding. I would like to point out that at first can not be expected that they eat properly with her, but they know it and stop grabbed the spoon you try it with, if they keep their own food are! Be patient when you introduce a spoon because he can only chew on it that at first. Make sure you sit him in a high chair so he would not fall outside with her in the mouth. I'm not sure if they are not better work because I've always just the normal ones are handled, but they are worth when you and your son as they try. A good meal with a spoon even feeding practices thick "spoon hugging" yogurt (Yoplait, the children those with Blue's Clues, Dora and Diego on them). So long as they do not spin it's here to stay, the spoon and helps build their confidence by using cutlery. Good luck!
